Terms of Service

Scope and eligibility
Weiyang is operated by Nguyen Van Tang, an individual developer, and provides AI character conversations, storytelling, memory and text-to-speech features to users aged 18 or older. These Terms of Service apply to the Weiyang app and website. Please read these terms and the Privacy Policy before using the service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
About the AI service
Characters, stories and conversations are generated by AI. They do not represent real people or the views of the operator. Content may be inaccurate, repetitive or unexpected. It is provided for entertainment and creative use, and is not medical, legal, financial or other professional advice or a promise by a real person. Use your own judgment and do not rely on generated content as the sole basis for important real-world decisions.
Accounts and security
Keep your account and sign-in credentials secure. Do not share passwords or verification codes. Third-party sign-in is also subject to the relevant provider’s rules. Contact us promptly if you believe your account has been misused. Recovering a guest account depends on the device and related sign-in information; changing devices or clearing local data may affect access.
Content and conduct
You must have the necessary rights to the character settings, text, images and other content you submit. Do not infringe another person’s privacy, likeness or intellectual property rights. Do not use the service for unlawful acts, impersonation, harassment or harm. Sexual content involving minors, non-consensual sexual content, hate and encouragement of self-harm are prohibited. Do not attack the system, bypass access restrictions or use another person’s account without authorization. You may report inappropriate content in the app.
Subscriptions, voice credits and restoring purchases
Subscriptions and voice credits are purchased through the store you downloaded the app from: Apple App Store on iOS or Google Play on Android. Prices, billing periods, usage limits and entitlements are shown at purchase and in the store’s confirmation. Automatic renewal follows the store’s rules. To cancel renewal, open your Apple account’s Subscriptions settings on iPhone, or Payments & subscriptions in the Google Play app on Android. Restore purchases in the app while signed in to the store account that made the original purchase. Subscription changes, refunds and transaction processing follow the policies and decisions of Apple or Google. Deleting the app or your Weiyang account does not automatically cancel a subscription.
Content processing and rights
We process submitted content to provide storage, generation, memory and speech features, as described in the Privacy Policy. Do not submit third-party content you are not authorized to use. Generated output is not guaranteed to be unique or suitable for every commercial purpose. The app and website’s names, designs and supplied artwork are protected by their respective rights; use of the service does not transfer ownership of those materials. If you believe content infringes your rights, contact us with its location, a description and necessary supporting information.
Maintenance, restrictions and leaving the service
Maintenance, network problems and third-party outages may temporarily interrupt the service. If conduct violates these terms or threatens people or system security, we may restrict relevant features, address the content or disable the account as appropriate. You can contact support to request a review. You may stop using the service and request account deletion in app settings; data handling is described in the Privacy Policy. These terms do not limit consumer rights granted by applicable law.
Updates and contact
We may update these terms and their date when features or service rules change. We will provide appropriate notice of material changes.
